Tap start, turn on your camera and meet someone new on a live video call. Monkey TV runs in your browser, matching is free and the next stranger is always one tap away.
How a Monkey video call starts
No profile to build, no request to wait on. A random video chat on Monkey App TV takes three steps.
-
1. Open Monkey App TV and press start
It works on a phone, a tablet or a laptop, straight from the browser.
-
2. Turn on your camera
The search only begins with your camera on, because every Monkey call is face to face.
-
3. Talk, or tap next
Enjoying the conversation? Stay as long as you like. If not, one tap brings the next random match.
- Next
- Ends the call and finds you someone new. Nothing is filed, you just move on.
- Block
- Adds the person to your blacklist, so they can no longer reach you.
- Report
- Sends the person to moderation, where AI tools and human moderators review it.

Is Monkey App TV free?

Private calls are the optional paid part. They run on coins and are charged per minute, so you only spend when you choose to.
A Monkey app for people who miss Omegle
Omegle closed in November 2023, and the habit it created did not close with it. People still want to meet someone unplanned, on camera, without a feed deciding who deserves their attention. That is why so many searches pair Monkey with Omegle.
Monkey App TV keeps the part that worked: one tap and a stranger appears. What it adds is the part that was missing. Both faces have to stay visible on camera, moderation is active and you hold your own Next, Block and Report controls.
New to it? Our random video chat guide shows how a call runs and how to make one worth staying on, and the online video chat guide covers the setup: camera, connection and the device you use.
How Monkey App TV keeps calls in check
AI content moderation works alongside human moderators. If someone hides their face or breaks the rules, the moderation system steps in, and reports are reviewed with AI tools and by people.
Monkey App TV is only for people aged 18 and over. If someone looks underage, end the call and report them.
Before your first call
- Keep your full name, address, workplace and social handles to yourself.
- Remember the other person can always point a phone at their screen, so only show what you are happy to show.
- Leaving a call needs no explanation. The next match is one tap away.
